Hood ("we", "us") operates a hyperlocal commerce platform connecting customers with local stores in Hyderabad, India, through our mobile applications. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

- Phone number: collected for account creation and login via one-time password (OTP) verification. This is required to use the app.
- Location: with your permission, we access your device location to detect your delivery address and show nearby stores. You can also enter your address manually.
- Delivery details: the name, address, and contact information you provide for order delivery.
- Order information: the items you order and the stores you order from.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account.
- To show you nearby stores and enable ordering.
- To share your order and delivery details with the store fulfilling your order, since stores handle their own delivery and customer service.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
Sharing your information
- With the stores you place orders from, so they can fulfill and deliver your order.
- With service providers who help us operate (SMS/OTP delivery, cloud hosting and database services).
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using our cloud database provider. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
Your choices and rights

Hood is not intended for users under 18.
