Terms of Service — Storefront by Hood

1. About Storefront

Storefront by Hood provides sellers with their own branded online storefront, integrated with the broader Hood ecosystem, enabling customers to browse, order, and interact with a store online.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Storefront. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Seller Responsibilities

If you are a store owner using Storefront, you are responsible for:

• The accuracy of your store, product, and pricing information
• Fulfilling orders placed through your storefront in a timely and accurate manner
• Complying with all applicable laws relating to your business, products, and sales
• The quality and legality of the products or services you offer

Hood provides the platform and technology; the store owner is responsible for their business operations, promises, and fulfilment.

5. Orders & Payments

Orders placed through a Storefront-powered store are between the customer and the store. Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Hood is not a party to the underlying sale unless explicitly stated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Storefront for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or infringing content
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, its servers, or connected Hood services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the ecosystem

7. Intellectual Property

The Storefront app, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Hood and its licensors. Store owners retain ownership of their own content (e.g., product photos, descriptions) but grant Hood a license to display and use that content as necessary to operate the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Storefront at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to Hood, other users, or third parties.

9. Disclaimers

Storefront is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Storefront, including but not limited to disputes between sellers and customers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
